London Fashion Week - DAY 2

Hello Everyone,

Day 2 of LFW marked the last Burberry show with Christopher Bailey as chief creative director, the brand showed their support for the LGBT+ community by combining the signature beige Burberry design with the rainbow colours.

Not only is this an amazing design but it conveys a deeper meaning to combat social stereotyping. LGBT+ podcaster Scott McGlynn said...
"Absolutely love it, I'm so happy a high-quality brand has finally created something to support our community."

If you missed the show and are interested in watching it then its available through the following link...

Firstly these classic Burberry print jackets, suited for both men and women with the LGBT+ stripe vertically down the left-hand side of the jacket. In terms of the women's look, the style of hats is very similar to last years design. The street style from outside the event showed how many people were wearing baker boy and beret hat's therefore to showcase such a popular accessory Burberry is bound to have increased sales from this product.

Likewise to day 1 of LFW, pink is highly featured on the runway this season, this long length coat adds a hint of class and sophistication to any outfit, however, the added embellished detail gives the outfit an additional edge compared to the standard coat. In a few posts time, I will be going through high street alternatives and how to achieve this look at a more affordable price.

The crowds clapped and cheered as she sashayed along the runway, she has been in the modelling industry almost a decade, therefore, was the perfect lady for the job. Cara's modelling career started in 2009 after she left school and was signed with Storm Modelling Management. Among the crowds sitting in the front row were stars such as Idris Elba, Alexa Chung, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss who was also founded at a young age by Storm.

Tomorrow I will be uploading the highlights from Day 3 of LFW, however in the meantime be sure to leave a comment expressing your opinion on Burberry's show in support of the LGBT+ community.
